Founded in 1927, the Branch #58 Royal Canadian Legion, East Hamilton Pipe Band is one of the oldest Legion pipe bands in Canada with 85 years of continuous operation. We currently wear the Ancient Murray of Tullibardine Tartan.
The band plays for Legion functions and parades, and for the parades of other veterans’ organizations and community events in the Greater Hamilton area. Please feel free to contact us about your parades and events.
The band is enjoying a period of re-growth with a number of young beginners. We maintain a long tradition of free instruction and welcome beginners of all ages. If you live in the Hamilton area and wish to learn to play the bagpipes or drums and join the band, please contact us.
